The History 

The Historic Building Company started life as a group of traditional pargeters and plasterers. We repeatedly uncovered oversights and past sins that threatened the fabric of these beautiful homes. We became valued by architects, conservation officers and families for our informed and honest advice. Gaining expertise, collecting awards and achieving recognition over many years led us into all aspects of listed building restoration.

At the heart of our company our craftsmen combine experience on listed buildings with academic degrees in English history and an affordable personalised service. Many clients have become lifelong friends on the basis of a reputation for friendly service, honest value and exacting standards.
